We are Asbury United Methodist Church, located at 300 East Basin Road, New Castle, Delaware.
Led by Pastor Liz Marrero, our traditional worship service takes place every Sunday at 9:30 AM, alongside a dedicated Children’s Church/Sunday School. We invite you to join our community of faith in spreading God’s love and peace into the world.
For those who cannot join us in person, we provide live and recorded broadcasts of our worship services on our YouTube channel, We also have a fun and active Facebook community and Instagram account.

We give thanks and praise to God for bringing Pastor Liz to us here at Asbury UMC in New Castle, DE!
A dedicated spiritual leader with a Master’s Degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary, Liz brings a unique blend of faith, cultural insight, and linguistic proficiency to her ministry. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she aims to bridge communities with God's word in ways that resonate across diverse backgrounds. She has a rare gift for empowering individuals and families to cultivate a deeper connection to their faith and one another. And her friendly approach nurtures an environment where congregants of all ages can grow together both personally and spiritually.
Her previous assignments include Calvary-Asbury UMC, Bethany UMC, Church Hill UMC and Ken Island UMC.
We look forward to sharing this new season and chapter in Pastor Liz's career, and growing under her leadership as one family in faith.
